Juliet Impact Story - Knocked Up Now What

Juliet C. Doris

I was the unapologetic, pregnant teenager, who flunked the 9th grade, only to get pregnant in the 10th grade, but with God’s grace, miraculously, I graduated from high school.

Who am I, you ask? “Ms Juliet C. Doris,” one of UCLA’s newest masters graduates. But keeping the PHD on the horizon and someday I’ll be “Dr. Juliet C. Doris” of Harvard or Columbia.

I am you. You are me. And our lives matter.
BLACK GRADUATES LIVES MATTERS.

Portia, a teen mom and law school graduate, Knocked Up Now What

Portia Johnson

My baby was a baby and now he’s a teenager! Oh em gee. I was a teen mom. I had my son at 17 and started college two weeks after his birth. In 2008, I graduated from Louisiana State University and just about 6 weeks ago I got my law degree from Southern University.

I can testify to the fact that true determination, will power, and real support from those who love you and want to see you become all you dream to become no matter what, can produce amazing things.

Keep encouraging those girls. With so much judgment in the world, I know it means everything to have that support.

I was twenty years old when I had him. I thought: ‘I haven’t even figured things out for myself yet. How am I going to figure them out for someone else?’
For With God nothing will be impossible. Luke 1:37
